Labor Day Weekend Hunt & Campout
If you are looking for a bang up way to start off the fall hunting season, this is it! Pheasant and Chukar hunting, a fabulous dove hunt, trap shooting contest with terrific prizes, gun raffle, terrific food and entertainment.
Saturday
The day starts at 7:00 am with a continental breakfast and check in. Then we proceed to the fields for the first of two 3 hour hunts, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. There is a trap shooting contest with fabulous prizes for the men’s, women’s and youth divisions. Morning hunters will shoot in the afternoon contest and afternoon hunters will shoot in the morning contest. There will be a shoot off between morning and afternoon winners right after the afternoon hunt and prizes will be awarded. Also, we have a gun raffle for a quality upland shotgun in the gauge of your choice ( 12 or 20 gauge ). Also, a grilled bratwurst lunch will be provided. We are not done yet! A massage therapist will be available to sooth those aching muscles after your hunt. The ladies can participate in a lotions, potions and puppy therapy session. Then we will have a fish fry with corn on the cob dinner and an old fashioned campfire with musical entertainment. Everyone is welcome to camp overnight.
Sunday
The day starts at 7:00 am with Dianne’s famous egg dish breakfast, then we head out for our dove hunt on land leased especially for this occasion. You can hunt doves all day Sunday and a box lunch will be provided.
Registration
The event is limited to the first 30 two day all events participants. There are an additional 20 places for the Saturday only events ( does not include dove hunt) . No limit on non-hunting or shooting guests. Children 10 and under must be supervised. This is an event for the entire family and it will sell out fast!
